  • Edit PDF

Change the text already in a PDF, and add text, images, shapes, highlights and drawings.

Edit PDF lets you change the text already in a PDF and write and draw on top of it. Click existing text to fix a typo, update a date or move a line; the change keeps the original font when that font has the letters. You can also type new text in any size and colour, add pictures, draw rectangles, ellipses, lines and freehand marks, highlight passages, cover areas with white-out, and bring items forward or send them back. It's ideal for correcting a letter, filling in a form that has no fields or annotating a draft before sending it.

  • PDF forms

Fill in form fields, or add new fields to any PDF.

PDF forms fills in interactive forms: application forms, tax documents and registration sheets. Fields show up on the page, so you type straight into them and tick their boxes. You can also turn a plain PDF into a form others can fill: add text fields, checkboxes, radio buttons, dropdowns, lists, date fields and signature fields, or press Detect fields to have the blank lines, boxes and empty table cells found for you, then review each suggestion.

  • Sign PDF

Draw, type or upload your signature and place it on pages.

Sign PDF puts your handwritten-style signature on a document, quickly and without printing and scanning. Draw it with a mouse, finger or stylus, type your name and pick a style, or upload a picture of your signature. Add initials and today's date too, place them anywhere, resize them, and repeat them on every page in one step. If you have a certificate file, you can also add a certificate-based digital signature that shows whether the file changes later.

  • Add watermark

Stamp text or an image over or under your pages.

Add watermark stamps text or an image across the pages of a PDF: a DRAFT or CONFIDENTIAL label, a company logo, or a note saying who a copy was sent to. Control its size, colour, opacity and angle, place it in any of nine positions or repeat it across the whole page, and choose whether it sits over or under the content.

  • Add page numbers

Number pages with your choice of position, format and style.

Add page numbers stamps numbers onto the pages of a PDF, so printed copies stay in order and people can refer to “page 7” in a meeting. Choose where they go, how they read, which pages get them and what number to start from, with mirrored positions for documents printed double-sided and bound like a book.

  • Crop PDF

Trim page margins or cut to a selected area.

Crop PDF cuts pages down to the part you want. Drag a box over the page to keep a figure, a column or a receipt from a full-page scan, or let it trim the white margins automatically so the content fills the screen on a phone or e-reader. Apply the crop to all pages, or adjust each page on its own. Cropping is also useful for removing printer marks and wide scanner borders, or for turning a page with two side-by-side columns into something easier to read on a narrow screen.

  • Rotate PDF

Rotate every page, or only the ones you pick.

Rotate PDF fixes pages that open sideways or upside down, which is common with scans and photos of documents. Turn the whole document in one go, or turn single pages with the arrows on their thumbnails. The rotation is saved into the file, so the pages open the right way round in every reader and print correctly. It also handles the classic double-sided scan, where every second page comes out upside down.
