About Crop PDF

Crop PDF cuts pages down to the part you want. Drag a box over the page to keep a figure, a column or a receipt from a full-page scan, or let it trim the white margins automatically so the content fills the screen on a phone or e-reader. Apply the crop to all pages, or adjust each page on its own. Cropping is also useful for removing printer marks and wide scanner borders, or for turning a page with two side-by-side columns into something easier to read on a narrow screen.

Why your files stay private

The page preview and the crop are both handled inside your browser. The PDF is not uploaded, so you can trim statements or scans without anyone else seeing them. Closing the tab clears the document from memory.

Crop PDF: common questions

Is the content outside the crop deleted?
No. Cropping changes the visible page area, as in other PDF editors, and the content outside it stays in the file. To permanently remove sensitive content, use Redact PDF.
Does cropping reduce quality?
No. Nothing is redrawn; text stays selectable and images keep their resolution.
Can I crop pages differently?
Yes. Choose “This page only” and set a separate area on each page you move to.
Why use “Trim white margins”?
It finds the edges of the content for you, which is handy for reading slides or papers on a small screen without zooming.
Can I undo a crop?
Press Reset before saving to start again. After saving, your original file is unchanged, so you can always crop it differently.
