About Web page to PDF
Web page to PDF turns a saved web page or any HTML file into a paginated PDF, useful for keeping a copy of an article, an order confirmation or documentation you wrote as HTML. Text stays real text you can search and copy, links stay clickable, and print styles in the page, such as page breaks, are respected.
Why your files stay private
The HTML file is read and laid out by your browser, and the PDF is written by the browser's own print engine. Nothing is sent to Nopload, so saved pages that contain account or order details stay on your device.
Web page to PDF: common questions
- Can I paste a web address instead?
- Not on the free site, which has no server to fetch pages for you. Open the page, save it with your browser's Save Page As (or Ctrl+S / Cmd+S), and convert the HTML file.
- Why are some images missing?
- Pictures and styles kept in a separate folder are only included when you add the page as a ZIP with that folder. Pictures on other websites are never loaded, to keep the conversion private, and the result tells you when some were left out.
- Is the text in the PDF selectable?
- Yes. Your browser's print engine writes real text and keeps links, so the PDF is searchable and accessible, not a screenshot.
- How do I remove the date and address from the page edges?
- Those are the print window's headers and footers. Untick “Headers and footers” in its settings before saving.
- Which browsers can do this?
- Any current browser that can save to PDF from its print window, including Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari.
