About Excel to PDF

Excel to PDF turns a workbook into pages you can print or send without anyone changing the numbers. Cell formatting, borders, merged cells and number formats are kept, and with High fidelity each sheet follows the print setup saved in the workbook, such as its orientation, scaling and print area. CSV files are laid out as a clean table. It is the simplest way to send a price list, timesheet or budget that should be read rather than edited.

Why your files stay private

Spreadsheets tend to hold the most sensitive numbers in a business. On Nopload's free site they are converted inside your browser, by LibreOffice running as WebAssembly or by the browser's print engine, and never uploaded to a server.

Excel to PDF: common questions

Why is my wide sheet cut across several pages?
With High fidelity the sheet's own page setup decides. Set it to fit to one page wide in your spreadsheet app, or use Standard with landscape orientation.
Are all sheets converted?
Yes, every sheet with content is included, one after another, in a single PDF per workbook.
Will formulas show their results?
Yes. The PDF shows the values, as they would print, not the formulas behind them.
Can I get tables out of a PDF into Excel?
Yes, the reverse is PDF to Excel, which finds tables in a PDF and writes them to an XLSX file.
Can I convert a CSV file?
Yes. Each line of the CSV becomes a row of the table on the page, whichever fidelity you choose.
