About Extract pages
Extract pages builds a new PDF from just the pages you pick, leaving the original untouched. Every page is shown as a thumbnail, so you can spot the signature page, the receipt or the chart you need without counting. The pages are copied exactly, keeping their text, images and links to other pages you extract.
Why your files stay private
The thumbnails are drawn and the new file is built inside your browser. Nopload has no server step for this tool, so the pages you look at and the ones you keep are never transmitted, logged or stored anywhere other than your own device.
Extract pages: common questions
- Does extracting change the original file?
- No. Your original stays exactly as it is on your disk. The extracted pages are copied into a new file with its own name.
- In which order are the pages saved?
- In their original order. To rearrange them as well, open the result in Organise PDF and drag the pages where you want them.
- How is this different from Split PDF?
- Split PDF cuts the whole document into parts by numbers you type or by size. Extract pages is for picking pages by sight, which is quicker when you only need a handful.
- Can I extract pages from a scanned PDF?
- Yes. Scanned pages are images inside the PDF and are copied like any other page. If you also want to search their text, run OCR PDF on the result.
- Can I extract pages from several PDFs?
- Extract pages works on one file at a time. To collect pages from several PDFs into one document, use Organise PDF, which loads them side by side.
